My team of four completed a project to gather insight around personal finance regarding students and travel. Students typically don't have set income and provided a whitespace for Intuit's app Mint to be adapted.
Challenge
We focused on college students planning for a Spring Break trip at identified key pain points in the trip planning, spending, and realization after the user returns home process. This animation of Voyage was created as a synthesis of these pain points.

How Voyage Works
When you download voyage onto your phone, you can set up a trip with your saving preferences and watch your goal grow towards your trip and access partnership deals. Voyage will set aside a travel budget to make sure you don't touch it while you're saving.
Before your trip, voyage will send you a travel box with a prepaid card loaded with the money you saved as well as location-based deals and money saving tips.
Use your travel card on your trip and voyage will categorize your expenses for you, keeping you on track. Receive morning notifications of your status and swipe into the app to see your activity. At the end of your trip, view your final summary and transfer whatever you didn't spend back into your bank account. Watch our pitch video:
